So I just called the CLSC in my area to just mention the birth so that they have it in their files… So the secretary asks me a few questions…
Her: was the baby born in the region?
Me: yes at home
Her:Did you have a midwife?
Me: No I was alone…
Her: (talking to herself) No discharge date from hospital… (back talking to me) Was it a vaginal birth?
me: umm…lol… yeah…. (DUH!!!!!!)
You can see some eyes… but I think that his cheeks are too big to open them completely…
I had a full night of painful contractions… At about 1:30am I got up and had to come into the livingroom and sit on my chair a bit to be a bit more comfortable… the contractions kept on coming…. Our internet was down and I wanted a bit of company so I woke Simon and he stayed up with me for a while… then I decided o go to bed and rest a bit more… the contractions kept on coming. I didn’t sleep much because the contractions woke me up each 8-10 min.. they were painful and I had tons of pressure…
I went to the bathroom and I had more mucous and bloody show…
I went back to bed…
Simon turned his alarm clock off but Colin woke up and was ready to get up… I got up to and the contrax kept on coming… I decided to take a shower to relax my body a bit…
The contractions stopped….
I get a few now and again but nothing regular… Simon took the boys for a walk to go to the grocery store while I relaxed…
This is getting to be annoying…
Well, I am now in one of those moods…. I fell asleep in front of a movie last night and then went to bed and didn’t sleep at all through the night… I had to go to the bathroom often and each time I went I started to cry because the pain in my pelvis was killing me… this morning Colin came into nurse and got up extra early and Simon, the amazing guy he is got up with the boys… At one point I couldn’t be in bed anymore, I was in so much pain, my sciatic nerve was acting up and the pain was radiating down to my ankle so I called Simon to come and massage my back a bit…
I am tired of being pregnant… I can’t walk too much without paying for it later so I spend my days on my birth ball and in my chair..
I am 41 weeks… so at most another weeks or two I guess….I just have to keep on playing it over and over in my head… soon… it will be soon…
