I know… I have said it before…

I MISS HAVING A CAMERA!!!!

I just really hope that I get it before Hallow’een… and to top it off… Khéna is increasingly near to walking… he took a few steps the other day… I don’t want to miss those moments….

I have been tracking it on the Canada Post site and it was at a stand still for more than a week… and then there was a bit of progress on Friday…

I have a bit of hope still that it will get here soon… but when I do internet searches my hope seems to dwindle with all of the postal horror stories… sometimes Google should not be used…

updated the blog….

I was putting off updating wordpress to 2.3 for a month now… 2.3.1 came out two days ago and I finally bit the bullet…

It went pretty much perfectly… (well… from what see)

I love the new plugin page that tells me when there are updates for plugins…

Now my hosting plan is coming to an end… I am debating on whether to stay with my current host or switch… I was having problems for a while but they seem to have calmed down a bit now… I just don’t know if I am up to the challenge of switching at the moment…

I just got back..

Just got home from the hospital and having left the boys with a babysitter for the first time…

The babysitting part went really well… I really like her and the kids had fun with her too….
I had asked how much she charges and she wanted 3$ an hour…. for both kids!!
I gave her 5$ an hour… I think that makes more sense…. and I think that I am going to enjoy having her around… I think that I might even ask her to come over one weekend soon and have her take the kids to the park or something so that we can get some deep cleaning and decluttering done…

As for the blood test… poor Khéna…
they couldn’t find a vein at all… and finally the nurse thought that she felt something after looking for about 5 min on both arms and hand… and then went in and searched… and then she hit a vein… she said that it was not because she was good… but it was by pure luck… they took 4 vials… The results will be sent to the Ped. here and then he will send them to the endocronologist in Montreal…
