First Haircut!
I decided that it was finally time to give Khéna his first haircut…
though I don’t mind… he was being called a little girl by everyone that saw him… but mostly… it was getting into his eyes…
It was hard to decided though because it would mean losing his curls… I love baby curls…
Before…
After….
In that last pic you can also see a bit of his teeth… Surprisingly he has all of his teeth now…
16 of them!!
So teething is pretty much all over until the 2 year molars come in!
oh… and here is what is left of the snow in our front yard… at least it is starting to melt more quickly now…
a few new pics…
The light in my Kitchen in the winter months makes for some great pictures… they just look so natural…
Khéna trying not to laugh…
drinking water… he start drinking water only in the last few weeks…
and Khéna’s scrunchy face…. he does it to make us laugh all of the time…
my sweet Colin…
and Xavier…
and of course… there are more on Flickr
beautiful day…
It’s the calm after the storm and a great day to see just how much snow has fallen…
I went out and played with the boys all morning… we went for a walk and they climbed and slid in the front yard and jumped from the hill on our front lawn..
I also moved the car so that the snow removal truck can come and do the rest of our driveway so that we could get the garbage bins out later…
Some more pics…
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow….
So… it snowed today…
I am so happy that I did my groceries yesterday because litterally we are pretty much snowed in and the roads are said to be very dangerous today…
So… We got about 2 1/2 feet…
it is a bit crazy… Simon is out shovelling as I write… and of course he had left the shovel next to the shed… and the other is buried in the front yard…
I tried to get some pics of how high the snow is but it is a bit hard because of the reflection and we can’t open the back door…
and here is the front yard…
just to compare… this is what it looks like with less snow…
and here is a pic of Xavier coming in from playing… it was about -25 with the wind…
