I have this blog on my bloglist and love reading it. I have printed this same post and given it to a few friends because I think it really gets to the heart of the distinction between home schooling and unschooling.
This part in particular bit me:
“we should simply disengage from conversations ….. [about] whether Unschooling will create the same sort of individuals as school does (except smarter, and harder working, or whatever)”
I am working on this personally and in particular in the context of not defending our life or comparing it favourably to anyone else’s to make them think it is ok and not deficient in the ways they imagine.
