This week was a bit busy….

I think I either got Food poisoning, intolerance or just a bit of the flu at the end of last weekend… I am the only one that got it and I got it bad… nausea, chills, headache, weakness, dizzy etc…. really not fun…

Khéna was also fussy but I think it was a bit of a tummy ache and just complaining that he wasn’t with mama as much as he wanted to be while I was sick… of course he was never more than a few feet away in his daddy’s arms… but that isn’t the same…

Then on Monday Simon noticed something wrong with the bathtub… water has accumulated under it and the whole floor of the bath moved with any pressure put on it… I went to Rona in a very groggy state to get ideas and while trying to explain the problem I understood it more myself… the old owners had bout one of those covers for the bath to make it look nicer… So I called the company and they offer a service to take the water out…. What happened was that water had got in from the sides were there was putty missing and went between the cover and the old bath… finally the glue unstuck and the there was water fully between the two layers…

They finally came on Friday to fix it they redid all of the sealing and made it look brand new again and it cost us 80$… it could have been worse….

On thursday I got a visit from my friends Nat and Ali and Ali’s 9 month old dd… At one point we put her and Khéna side to side on the floor and not only was Khéna bigger than she is…. he is also as tall as her!!!

Then on Friday, when I tried to fix a problem with the board I host a database error caused the whole thing to crash… I had made a backup a few minutes before trying to fix it so I felt pretty safe… But… the board has been having a problem for a while with the database so all the backups that I had been making were corrupted, I worked for at least a dozen hours to get things back but it was just too far gone… So, we had to start all over… but a fresh installation will make things a lot cleaner and better… but it is sad to see so many posts lost….
