well… the nurse came on Wednesday and it was a great visit. She was completely in awe at the UC and asked tons of questions and loved hearing the answers… especially since she saw that I had done my research and that the answers made sense… she also checked out the pics a bit and found it cool that hen she was looking at the pics she was standing right in the place that he was actually born…
She did a few reflex tests and took his weight… from the 9lbs 8oz he was two days after birth and has been gaining well and on wednesday he weighed in at 11lbs 3oz… wow… such a big boy already!!!
He looks big in the pictures, so big and cute with those cheeks! I’m getting a lot of happy responses on Logan’s birth too. =) My little one is still under 8 pounds though. I must be insane because I was going through baby clothes last night, mostly boy stuff, and saw such cute little outfits Gage wore and immediately wanted to get pregnant again and have another little boy…my husband practically ran screaming out of the room, LOL.
You not insane… I could totally see having another baby soon.. Though the birth was intense, it was amazing and I can’t wait to do it all over again… I could do with out the afterpains though… those were rough!
This happened with Gage too…I wanted another baby when he was about 3 weeks old. Before he was born we had planned on 3 years between kids but I couldn’t wait so we decided on 18 months. Now that we have Logan, Ken wants to wait until 2010 for number three, but I want to go for February 2009 since for some reason I’m determined to have my first three before I turn 30, which will be 2010. And now that Logan’s here…I don’t even want to wait until 2009! AHHHH!!!! I love babies. I totally agree on the afterpains…that was three or four days of horror.
he looks big! naeem didn’t weigh 11 lbs till he was 2 months
