After debating the decision for quite a long time…
I woke up this morning and decided that it was the day last day that my hair would look like this…
I called my neighbor and got a recommendation for a Salon (I have not had my hair cut professionally in years!) and came home looking like this…
What a change!! it feels so light and well, short! (the braid that was cut off was about 18 inches so it is quite a change)
I actually was thinking of going shorter but the stylist loves long hair and she was cringing at even going this short…
It looks so freaking good! LOVE IT! Love you! Glad you took the plunge!
Nice! The smile says it all 😉
Looks good too! It really suits you. Perfect time to cut it too, I always cut my hair before the summer.
Wow! You and your hair look great. I can’t get past about 1.5″ hair til I get irked and have to cut it again so I am in awe of folks who grow their hair as long as yours was.
it looks lovely! You are brave and you must be so glad you were, because the fresh cut makes your face look much slimmer and I love how it bounced up in waves. Very nice.
It looks REALLY good. It is still super long, you can still be a Hippie With A Minivan 🙂
Gorgeous. Its hard to make big changes, but the bravery paid off! Enjoy, pretty Mama!
It looks great!
You look great! It’s the perfect length, IMO.
Thank you so much everyone!!
In the past even the slightest haircut had been hard except for the year or so that I had very short hair (ear length)…This time however, I went in there with no doubts that I was coming out with short hair and besides a tiny little cringe halfway through cutting the braid off, I was completely open. I guess I am ready for some changes in my life and the easiest place to start is with myself.
Tez… I I wish that bounce was natural! The stylist had a lot of fun curling it… it was super curly when I left but my hair won’t hold a curl for more than a few minutes so by the time I got home it was like the picture…
So Beautiful! Yay!
You look fantastic! I cut 13″ off of my hair 2 days ago to donate it to Locks of Love. I thought I would cry, but I think going in with the intention of donating helped. Haha.
The hair frames your face nicely! A beautiful crown for a radiant face. Looks great on you!
