Thanks Melissa! I have a lot of “wonders” about home schooling broadly and un schooling specifically… if you’re really up to answering I’d love to start a dialogue 🙂 … is this the best place to do it?

Thank you so much for stopping in and saying Hi!

There is no need to have a lable, as long as you do what feels right in your heart and what feels good, you will seldom have regrets.

If ever you would like to know more about unschooling or have questions just ask!

My daughter Willa (!) is almost one, and although I haven’t endeavored to label our parenting style, a lot of the ideas you discuss really resonate with me. Un-Schooling is particularly intriguing… I had never heard of it! Before W was born I was an educator in an early childhood program that drew on philosophies from Reggio Emilia schools… I love the concept of children as competent, independently driven learnerd from a very early age, and am really excited to learn more about the lifetyle right you and your family have chosen. Anyway, just wanted to say hi rather than lurking!
