I’m Megan, I live in Idaho and I’m mom to a 2.5 year old girl with a baby due in September. My husband and I are physician assistants at a community health center. We practice family medicine as well as obstetrics which is quite fun. Most of our patients are Spanish speaking only, which we also really enjoy. My hobbies include sewing clothes for my girl, baking, home decorating, and gardening. I think I first came upon your blog through Pinterest when I was researching how to make cloth diapers soon after my girl was born. I did Hypnobirthing in a hospital setting for her birth and had a great experience. Becoming a mother has made me question the parenting status quo I see in my peers. We’re continually trying to find our own style. We are LDS and live in a rather conservative community. I’ve really enjoyed reading about you perspectives and approaches toward family life and parenting. Thanks for the great blog!

I was very interested in your parenting choices and went back and read just about all your posts. I really admire your dedication and commitment to your lovely family and think you have your priorities right. My children are grown up and working and/or still studying. I love to cook and entertain, read, knit, listen to and play music, and walk on beaches every chance I get. I divide my time between Ontario and NS. I hope that this year your dream of moving west is realized.
