Consignment is hard, especially for artists that spend more time than they do material and make one of a kind products. To be honest, it doesn’t work for me at the moment and may never work unless people know the art better. I sell better in person when people can see and understand how it is made and then they can appreciate the work that goes into it and the cost.

The way that I do my pricing not only pays for my time but also includes profit. By selling wholesale, you are essentially giving the profit to someone else, but you should still be paid for your work and time.
